ENG_Do you like reading poems? Do you love listening to rhymes? Would you like to improve your vocabulary?

In my view...One of the best ways to develop your English (or any other foreign language knowledge) is to read, write and / listen to rhymes. Simply, because they are easy to follow and memorize - thanks to their rhyming lines. So to say, learning short poems or rhymes are easy as ABC.

Let me share some of my ideas for building your vocabulary. Here below you can read a rhyme, written by me, about an animal. The illustration was hand drawn by myself and inspired by one of Monika Egri's drawings, a really talented Hungarian illustrator, artist. 

Fox in front of the box

Foxes are sly creatures

with really strange features

like sitting in front of the TV set

all day long

filling their mouths

with popcorn or listening to a loud folk song.

Why are they doing like this?

Who knows.

Maybe just to miss

not even one opportunity

for practising English, 

their favourite foreign language.

HUN_ Szeretsz verseket olvasni, mondókákat hallgatni? Szeretnéd fejleszteni a szókincsed?

Véleményem szerint, az egyik legjobb módja az angol vagy bármely más idegennyelvi készségünk fejlesztésére a mondókák olvasása, írása és/vagy hallgatása. Egyszerűen, mert könnyű azokat memorizálni. Tehát oly sima megtanulni őket, mint az ábécét. Fentebb megosztottam néhány szókincs bővítési ötletet, kezdve egy általam kézzel készített rajzocskával - angol felirattal ellátva. Az ötletet inspirálta egy tehetséges magyar illusztrátor, művész, Monika Egri.

U.i. Csakhogy még mókásabbá és élvezhetőbbé tegyük a tanulást, meghallgathatunk egy a témához kapcsolódó dalt. /Kis vörös róka - Finkytown Funtime Band/

#7 tips for vocabulary practice --> Tasks to do: 

a. Collect rhyming words from the poem-rhyme 

b. Make word cards from the rhyming words and play memory games/BINGO

c. Learn the rhyme or just some lines from it

d. Choose 7 words from the rhyme and put them in ABC order

e. Make a drawing/cartoon to this rhyme with short texts -  meanwhile you can listen to the Little red fox song

f. Play a storytelling activity with the cartoons

g. Put the story in order - 1st cut the story into pieces
